Scotland name 15 member squad for Twenty20 World Championship

Scotland have named former England and Yorkshire player Gavin Hamilton in their 15-man squad for next month's Twenty20 World Cup to be held in South Africa.
According to cricket365.com, the Broxburn-born 32-year-old has featured infrequently for Scotland since the ICC World Cup early this year, with work commitments keeping him out of some matches.
In the meanwhile, Hamilton has confirmed his availability for the world tournament in South Africa.
In their warm-up games, Scotland face Bangladesh on September 8 and Zimbabwe on September 9, and then launch their campaign against Pakistan on September 12 before taking on India the following day.
Scotland also face India on August 16 in a one-day international.

The Champions Twenty20 League, formed with the official sanction of ICC will kick off in October 2008. Eight domestic teams from four nations will participate. Cricket Australia will partner the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Cricket South Africa (CSA). The champion team in the Champions Twenty20 league will get US $5 million, which is the highest ever prize money for a cricket event.
